125 People Injured, And 34 People Dead In Turkish Capital Ankara Bomb Blast
Turkey a key member of NATO security and also bordering with Syria , a source of terrorists attacks has been rocked by an attack on its capital Ankara. The death toll in the blast has now reached a total of 34 people with at least 125 people injured.
The Turkish president has vowed to bring terrorism down to its knees and a court in Ankara has reportedly issued a ban on access to Facebook and Twitter after images of the car bombing in the capital was shared on social media.
The president said yesterday’s attack, the third in six months and the country’s second this month has galvanised the will to clamp down on terrorism.
Several local users reported difficulty in accessing the sites, according to broadcasters CNN Turk and NTV.
Turkey has reportedly banned social media access , in the wake of the deadly bomb blast. It is reported that a blanket ban has been placed on access to social media sites after images of the deadly bomb blast were shared on Twitter and Facebook.
So far reports indicate that social media users are facing difficulties in accessing their social media accounts.
