The French envoy indicated that 80% informal sector, a French envoy has said, urging government to be more careful when making decisions.Two weeks ago, government regulated that some products were banned into the country in a bid to boost local production.
 
Zimbabwe’s ban on imports from o1 July 2016, is according to the French envoy warned that this is potentially a hotspot for trouble, as the informal sector depends on imports with 80% Zimbabweans making up the informal sector.
 
In anation with unemployment levels as high as 90%, unemployment where the informal sector actually caters for self employment, hence a means of survival by the suffering masses, once this lot are made destitute by such controversial government policies such as the import ban on goods as furniture, potato crisps, cereals, bottled water, mayonnaise, salad cream, baked beans, peanut butter, jams, maheu, canned fruits and vegetables, pizza base, yoghurts, flavoured milks, dairy juice blends, ice-creams, cultured milk and cheese it is easy to see how this can unfold into destabilisation through protests. …DISCUSS!
