18 Months Jail For Ex Jerusalem Mayor Also Ex Israel PM For Bribery

Despot led African nations and their apologists followers, could take a leaf from 70-year-old Ehud Olmert , a former mayor of Jerusalem former Israeli Prime Minister’s experience.

Zimbabwe is one such nation, with the criminal  despot leader president Robert Mugabe, his Zim1 family, Zanu PF stalwarts and securocrats looting national wealth and resources and engaging in underhand, corrupt dealings with fellow rich underworld criminals.

The circle of money is well protected and designed to enrich the now filthy rich multimillionaires, while protecting them from arrest or prosecution over all illicit activity.

This indifference as to the suffering of the masses has led to an alarming 90% unemployment, collapsed service delivery in Health, Education, Roads, Electricity and Water supplies, bringing the nation down to its knees.

The seemingly untouchable Mugabe, a despot who monopolises wealth and power, deliberately created an entropy that he and his caucus of evil corrupt henchmen, continuously use as cover for their continued looting of national wealth and resources.

In typical ‘I don’t care attitude, he is enjoying a festive season holiday and annual leave until mid January in the East, while Zimbabwe burns.

He is 92 years of age and is not prepared to step down or risk facing prosecution of himself, Zim1 family, Zanu PF stalwarts and securocrats, hence Zimbabwe’s endless suffering.

Its uplifting to know that the former Israel Prime Minister, 70-year-old Ehud Olmert  stepped down voluntarily in 2009, and  he was to six years in prison for crimes committed in the past at a time when he was still the Mayor of Jerusalem.

  However, Ehud Olmert, will now serve 18 months in jail  after originally being sentenced to six years by the Lower court ‘for receiving a bribe worth 500,000-shekel ($130,000; £86,000)’, from property developers of Holyland, on a  controversial block of flats in the Holy land of  Jerusalem at the time of his term in office as Mayor  of Jerusalem, before becoming an Israeli Prime Minister.

That judgement , passed by a lower court in 2014,  was eventually reduced by Israeli’s Supreme Court from six years, down to 18 months, and he will commence serving his sentence on the 15th of January.

 In an exercise that virtually left no stone unturned, several government  and business officials  were convicted of illicit dealings in the the exercise in 2014, however after an appeal, his sentence has been reduced by the supreme court.

The former Israeli Prime Minister  Ehud Olmert becomes the first  ever, former prime minister of  the Israeli State to be imprisoned. Mugabe,Zim1 family, Zanu PF stalwarts and securocrats must be brought to account, at all costs and face prosecution over their crimes against humanity and looting of national wealth and resources, in office or after their terms office.

All proceeds of crime must be recovered by the state and channelled to wards rebuilding the economy that these criminals have collapsed, thereby making all our children black, white, coloured, any religion, creed or political orientation, destitute in such a wealthy nation. The Rule Of Law Must Be restored at all costs,…..age is no excuse for escaping justice!  Mugabe and his Zanu PF must all go!
