2 Die as speeding ‘Tenda’ Bus, loses control and crashes into trees
Travelling on Zimbabwe’s public transport is literally gambling with one’s own life as buses and commuter buses are frequently involved in horrendous accidents that result in unwarranted deaths.
Most of these accidents, can be attributed to poor road conditions, non road worthy vehicles, unlicenced drivers and dangerous drivers. The latest accident involving major public transport, involved a speeding Mutare bound Tenda Bus service, whose driver lost control and crashed into trees on Friday.
2 passengers died on the spot, while 31 others were seriously injured and taken to
Rusape General Hospital for treatment. by Sibusiso Ngwenya
