SIX killed as careless Isuzu driver overtook a stationery haulage truck giving way to a train at a level crossing in Harare

Six people died today after a pick up truck, collided with an NRZ train at a level crossing this morning in mount Hampden near Cornway school.There were no survivors in the vehicle. It has now been established from the police that the KB Isizu truck killed six passengers on the spot yesterday morning after the suzu pick-up truck they were travelling in crashed into a goods train when their car driver decided to overtake a stationery haulage truck at a railway crossing in Mt Hampden along Chinhoyi road. The haulage truck had stopped to give way to the train but the Isuzu truck driver for some unknown reason chose to ignore safety and instead overtopk a haulage truck giving way at a level rail crossing and smashed into the NRZ train killing six people on the spot.
