25 Years Jail For Jotsholo Man Who Stabbed Cop With Deadly Okapi Knife
A MAN from Mzola 6 Village in Jotsholo, who stabbed a 24 year old police officer to death was yesterday sentenced to 25 years in jail.
In an attempt to evade arrest, the then 24 year old culprit , Proud Dlamini (26), of Mzola 6 Village in Jotsholo, evade arrest on New Year’s Day, stabbed the Lupane, Jotsholo Police Station cop, in the abdomen and head with the lethal Okapi knife on new years day.
While he pleaded guilty to a lower charge of culpable homicide a Bulawayo High Court judge, Justice Nicholas Mathonsi, found him guilty of murder with constructive intent, and sentenced him to to 25 years in jail. By Sibusiso Ngwenya
