‘Zim Has US$15 trillion , Worth Of Diamonds, Platinum,& Gold Mineral Deposits’-VP Mphoko

The vice president, of the Zimbabwe Republic, Phelekezela Mphoko announced that Zimbabwe is actually sitting on a total of US$15 trillion worth of minerals. This he claims , actually established that the nation has in the capacity of producing over 2,8 billion tonnes of platinum, along with over 30 million tonnes of gold  and  massive  diamond deposits which can raise the country’s per capita income to over US $1 million.

As expected, the Vice president took the all too familiar anti imperialist, Zanu PF propaganda stance when he went on to state that Zimbabwe is a  country , well endowed with minerals if  put to good use but  Western imperialists were out to stop Zimbabwe’s rise by hugely dropping mineral prices on the global market to ensure that the nation fails to raise any significant sum from the sale of  minerals, before typically castigating some sections of the media who he claimed were fabricating in-existent rifts in the ruling party, Zanu-PF leadership.

VP Mphoko also claimed that the rift between him and VP Mnangagwa was also another fabrication by the media, as he has been a diplomat for 27 years, with him  and Mnangagwa having met and been  close  from way back in Mozambique as members of the Zanu PF youth wing during Zimbabwe’s liberation struggle. by Sibusiso Ngwenya
