6Die AFTER CAR FAILS TO STOP AT ROAD BLOCK, RAMMING INTO HAULAGE TRUCK AT 6-KM PEG ON BYO-HRE HIGHWAY

Six people died on the spot when a vehicle they were travelling in was involved in a horrific road traffic accident at the six-kilometre peg along the Bulawayo-Harare highway on the outskirts of the City of Kings Thursday morning. Police spokesperson Senior Assistant Commissioner Charity Charamba confirmed the accident saying all passengers and a driver who were in the Toyota Vits died on the spot. Senior Assistant Commissioner Charamba said the Toyota Vits driver failed to stop at a police road block and hit some drums losing control of the vehicle, ramming into an oncoming haulage truck killing all the passengers in the process. Senior Assistant Commissioner Charamba urged motorists to adhere to road rules to avoid unnecessary loss of lives.-Source: zbc
