ACCIDENT :SEVEN KILLED AS TWO JARAX BUSES swipe swipe on Masvingo-Harare road, near Pimbi river , eight injured

As Zimbabweans await the concourt judgement on the future of the country, seven people just simply trying to live their lives, died early today while eight were seriously injured when two Jarax company buses side-swiped each other after one encroached into the lane of the other at the 98 km peg along the Harare-Masvingo highway near Pimbi River.
 
The side swipe accident by the twoJarax buses traveling in opposite directions on the Masvingo to Harare after one encroached into the lane of the oncoming bus, resulted in one bus veering off the road before overturning.
 
Injured passengers were rushed to Chivhu General Hospital while bodies , some headless from the accident victims were also taken to the Chivhu Hospital mortuary. It is shocking that the buses are from the same company and we are still awaiting further information on what transpired based on survivor, witness and driver statements as investigations by police continue. Its a week of multiple deaths in Zimbabwe, because at the same time in Chinhoyi at Eldorado mine , the lack of equipment is hammpering the retrieval of at least 12 dead artisanal miners bodies stuck underground after a mine shaft collapse on Monday 20/8/18 at approximately 10 pm. , More news to follow, By Sibusiso Ngwenya
