BASIC INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE LEAVING EARTH -(BIBLE) 5-PATIENCE:-Patience is a virtue, based on love, trust, faith, hope and good character

As part of my regular Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth Scriptures (Bible) please find 24 verses on patience for yourself, a friend, family or anyone in need of healing. God bless!. Remember :2 Timothy 3:16-17 ’16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work’.

1-‘My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry’ James 1:19,

‘2-But the one who stands firm to the end will be saved’ Matthew 24:13

3-‘Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer’.

Romans 12:12

4-‘Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs’ 1-corinthians 13:4-5.

5-‘Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes’. Psalm 37:7

7- Be still before the Lord

and wait patiently for him;

do not fret when people succeed in their ways,

8-‘But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.’ Romans 8:25

9-Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.’ Proverbs 14:29

10-‘The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still’ Psalm 27:14

11- ‘For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning’ Psalm 30:5 .

12-‘May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had. Romans 15:5

13-‘Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love’ Ephesians 4:2

14-‘But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently’ Galatians 6:9 .

15-‘In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice;

in the morning I lay my requests before you

and wait expectantly’ Psalm 5:3 .

16-‘The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus’ 14:14 .

17- ‘The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance’ 2 Peter 3:9

18-‘Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience’ Colossians 3:12 .

19-‘Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you;

therefore he will rise up to show you compassion.

For the Lord is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for him!’ Isaiah 30:18

20-‘Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come’ 2 Peter 3:8

21-‘But the one who stands firm to the end will be saved’ 2 Timothy 4:2

22-‘Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction’-Joel 2:13

23-‘Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come’.Matthew 24:42
