Bikita West Zanu PF MP Kereke, Sentenced To 14 Years Imprisonment For Rape Of 11 Year Old
BIKITA WEST ZANU PF MP KEREKE was convicted of raping his wife’s niece this morning and jailed for 14 years. He could eventually serve an effective 10 years in jail with 4 years suspended for good behaviour. This has been an agonising and traumatic wait for both the public and the then 11 year old victim who was raped at gun point by the ZANU PF stalwart. Kereke’s final fall is suspected to be linked to the fall of the ZANU PF stalwart, then Prosecutor General Johannes Tomana who constantly protected him over the years from prosecution but was himself suspended last week by Zimbabwe ‘s President Robert Mugabe who set up a tribunal to report back to him in three months on his suitability for the post of Prosecutor General .
