‘Bona Mugabe-Chikore Inlaws Malborough House, illegally Given State Protection’

In Zimbabwe, public officials such as  government ministers, law judges, the attorney general and prosecutor general are guarded by Zimbabwe Republic Police’s (ZRP) Police Protection Unit (PPU) State House province at tax payers expenses.

It has now been revealed that the corrupt president Robert Mugabe, fields state security at tax payers expense, at a time the government is unable to pay the civil service due to empty cofffers, at his daughter Bona Chikore’s inlaws residence in Marlborough.

Bona is married to Simbarashe Chikore. The Chikore family, have no constitutional right to state protection, enjoy this  State House security status normally accorded to Mugabe’s  First Family with Police guards daily  6pm to  6am even though they are not recognised as  public officials.

This is not the only example of Mugabe’s criminal abuse of office as earlier on in June, the Mugabe’s in-laws were given state protection after President Robert Mugabe, stopped Zimbabwe’s  Parliamentary Portfolio Committee on Youth, Indigenisation and Economic Empowerment from investigating corruption relating with the controversial  awarding of  Sakunda Energy with a tender for Dema Diesel Power Plant.

The issue raise eyebrows as Sakunda Energy is a company , which is owned by one of the ruling party  Zanu PF benefactors, an individual named as  Kuda Tagwirei.

Controversy arose from the fact that the Zanu PF benefactor,  Kuda Tagwirei along with one of  Mugabe’s inlaws, an individual named Derrick and actually a  brother to Simba Chikore, the husband to Mugabe’s only daughter Bona partenered in a controversially awarded and highly expensive   Sakunda Energy deal   without going to tender for Dema Diesel Power Plant hence Mugabe’s criminal abuse of office by blocking Zimbabwe’s  Parliamentary Portfolio Committee on Youth, Indigenisation and Economic Empowerment from investigating corruption relating to the shady deal .
