BOND NOTES WILL STAY in circulation, Finance and Economic Planning Minister Patrick Chinamasa, people say ‘NO diaspora votes, no elections, else we become an African sh*thole country !

Minister Chinamasa , a man from the same Zanu pf regime under Mugabe which introduced the much hated and worthless bond notes a.k.a ‘toilet paper’ understandably valid only in what US president reportedly referred to as ‘African sh*thole countries’ has declared that bond notes will remain in circulation adding that the government aims to normalise relations with the United Kingdom, the European Union, the United States create ad create an investor friendly environment.

This comes at a time when President Mnangagwa has said also announced that Zimbabweans should brace for harmonised elections in the next five months. MDC T opposition are mired with controversy over the manner of placing an unelected personal choice of Vice, Nelson Chamisa to run MDC T in the run up to elections, while sidelining an elected Ndebele, female president, Dr Thokozani Khuphe and thereby disregarding the party constitution, indirectly creating a personalisation of MDC T party like we experienced with Mugabe and Zanu pf.

Further chaos in opposition is proven by Mavambo/Kusile/Dawn (MKD) leader Simba Makoni beeing dumped by some MKD senior officials who allege that he is a failed politician so they have formed their own party called Democratic Opposition Party (DOP) led by Harry Peter Wilson.

The MKD officials claim that they realised that Simba Makoni is still attached to his former party Zanu PF a fact demonstrated by how the former Finance minister selfishly split votes in the 2008 elections.

Already MDC T and the exiled Professor Jonathan Moyo have raised alarm at the deployment of over 2000 soldiesr across rural areas by Zimbabwe’s new president Emmerson Mnangagwa. They are concerned that we are being set up for a similar violent election to that of 2008.

Mnangagwa recently declared at a meeting with Zimbabweans in Namibia that Zimbabwe will not facilitate diaspora voting, therefore meaning the 6million Zimbabweans in the diaspora and generally anti Mnangagwa, Zanu pf stalwarts and securocrats would have been eliminated from voting. he claimed that if they are serious they can travel to Zimbabwe and register on BVR to vote when election time comes.

This effectively seals the issue, because Mnagagwa’s government through George Charamba, a few days ago when Tsvangirai’s diplomatic passport was reinstated, explained that tsvangirai was stripped of his Zimbabwean passport as no Zimbabwean is allowed to hold more than one passport.

This means that any diaspora Zimbabwean with dual citizenship as has been generally happening, is expected to renounce their Zimbabwean citizenship at port of entry on arrival, obtain a visa to enter Zimbabwe and leave at the end of the visa period.

All these are Mnangagwa, Zanu pf stalwart and securocrat tactics to marginalise the powerful diaspora as they are real game changers because they are a source of wealth and support to the elderly population, unemployed youth and other electorate in Zimbabwe and can influence and change the political dispensation.

Mnangagwa is also on record for having stated at the 17 annual Zanu pf December conference in December 2017 that Zanu pf was planning to start a Zanu pf TV station to cunter what he termed as an increasingly hostile social media.

We all know that Zanu pf has traditionally used the Zanu pf partisan ZBC, Herald and Chronicle to churn out propaganda and brainwash followers but they are by their own admission, losing the war because, we the people rule the independant media circles.

It is clear that Mnangagwa, Zanu pf stalwarts and securocrats have no intention to afford diaspora Zimbabweans, equality with all Zimbabweans in their motherland, yet this is the same regime that forced people out of the country.

We the people have the power. If Mnangagwa, Zanu pf stalwarts and securocrats look down upon diaspora Zimbabweans the way they are doing now, we must ramp up pressure upon this illegitimate regime through the media and use our diaspora connection to step up protests at Zimbabwe’s embassies worldwide, and keep leaders in the global village aware of the injustice faced.

The First world must not rush into funding Mnangagwa government in the name of helping Zimbabwe, particularly Britain as they are our colonial masters and therefore hold key interests in resolving Zimbabwe’s issues. Funding Mnangagwa regime by any government is no different from lengthening the people’s suffering as it leaves the diaspora stuck in the middle of nowhere, though not a crisis issue because they are in societies with respect for the Rule of Law.

We have a right to be respected and the opposition particularly the MDC Alliance has an obligation to use the 6 million diaspora voters as a leverage weapon against Mnangagwa, Zanu pf stalwarts and securocrats by declaring that ‘NO diaspora votes, no elections!

At this point in time we are only proceeding to participate in a clearly fraudulent election, only to legitimise Mnangagwa, Zanu pf stalwarts and securocrats who look down upon diaspora Zimbabweans. If MDC Alliance take that stance, the international world will look closer at the injustices suffered by the people of Zimbabwe through marginalisation of the diaspora Zimbabweans and in the name of peace, democracy, equality and justice, cease any attempts to stabilise or fund an illegitimate regime.

Britain reportedly had the opportunity to save Zimbabwe during Gukurahundi but instead chose to bring Mugabe’s Zvimba cousin the former Air Commander of the AFZ now the minister of Agriculture and lands, Perrance Shiri a.k.a Bigboy Samson Chikerema to a six month course at the Royal Air Force training center in UK, while Ndebeles were being butchered by the Fifth Brigade under his command back in Zimbabwe and so, we the people, particularly those in the western world Uk and the US must ramp up pressure until diaspora votes are accepted otherwise. ‘NO diaspora votes, no elections, else we become an African sh*thole country !

Lest we forget, in March 2008, Zimbabwe experienced a tumultous time, because of unprecedented electoral violence before and post the 29 March 2008 general election.

Mugabe, Mnangagwa, Zanu PF stalwarts and securocrats had lost relevance because of the continued suffering and hunger across Zimbabwe and the people were clearly hungry for a change of power due to economic situation.

General elections were held in Zimbabwe on 29 March 2008 to elect the President and Parliament. Because of Zimbabwe’s dire economic situation, the elections were expected to provide This was certainly a huge challenge for President Robert Mugabe who was yet to face a ballot as tough as the march 2008 election.

Unsurprisingly so, President Robert Mugabe, lost the election as Zimbabwe’s main opposition, MDC T leader Morgan Tsvangirai, clearly won, but Mugabe refused to step down or publish the result and chose to publicly declare that thieves were about to steal the nation.

What most Zimbabweans did not realise at that very moment in time, was that, a Chinese ship (pictured) named, the An Yue Jiang whose ship master reportedly identified as Captain Sunaijun, was on standby in the South African, Durban Port, laden with arms destined for Zimbabwe.

The ship’s deadly consignment of 77-tonnes of weapons included three million rounds of ammunition for AK-47 rifles and small arms, 1,500 rocket-propelled grenades and thousands of mortar rounds, mortar tubes and other military weapons, from Beijing to Harare, leading to South African Port workers refusing to offload the shipment as they knew very well, Mugabe was preparing to massacre Zimbabweans in a bid to stay in power even though he had lost the ballot but was unwilling to announce the result.

At the same time, the South African High Court, played a critical role in delaying a potential massacre of Zimbabweans by declaring that, the deadly ammunition could only be unloaded at port but not be transported by road. This court stance, coupled with the Port workers refusal to offload the weapons, led to the An Yue Jiang, sailing off towards Mozambique in an attempt to offload the weapons there.

With the political stalemate in place, any nation assisting the movement of the weapons to Zimbabwe, would have played a key role in suppressing a people’s defiance to oppressive authority as the cargo, was enough to run a full blown war, yet Mugabe was dealing with unarmed civilians seeking democracy for all

As far as the Chinese government was concerned, they were simply engaging in normal trade with Zimbabwe and all was in order, and they would not or involve themselves in interfere with a sovereign state’s internal affairs as was the case then, or so they claimed.

South African opposition foreign affairs and independant Human rights groups, along with International security, and international media and International pressure groups, tracked the ships movements , also using planes and helicopters, knowing very well that the Chinese government had supported Robert Mugabe by training and arming his guerrillas during the war for independance against the British government in the 70s. , while at the same time they had now reportedly furnished Mugabe’s Zanu PF government with radio-jamming devices to prevent independent stations from disseminating information to the public.

To the ‘Discerning Eye-newzimbabwevision;, China is a stumbling bloc to democracy in Zimbabwe, as, it considers Zimbabwe like an annex because Zimbabwe ‘owes’ its freedom to Chinese benevolence, hence why China has, reportedly , on past occassions vetoed the UN security council from debating Zimbabwe’s crisis arguing that Zimbabwe’s issues were an internal not a public matter.

The An Yue Jiang, having sailed around the Southern coast of Africa and met up with the same defiance all round as different port workers at different countries, refused to offload, what they knew was a looming bloodbath through Mugabe butchering their kith and kin.

Mugabe would have butchered Zimbabweans with the deadly weapons, irrespective of what race, tribe, religion or colour one was in a second wave of his gukurahundi genocide ‘moment of madness’ and that would have included many of those singing for their supper, in favour of Mugabe and his Zanu PF today,…..LITTLE DID THEY KNOW! The ship eventually sailed off back to China, with its consignment, and Zimbabweans received a lifeline but never realised how close they were to being butchered by Mugabe over Zimbabwe.

Zimbabwe’s deposed former President Robert Mugabe’s decison to place ‘Joint Operations Command (Joc)’ A Security grouping which involves the Zimbabwe National Army (ZNA), Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP), And Central Intelligence Organisation (CIO) on high alert and Mugabe’s cousin the former Home Affairs Minister Ignatius Chombo’s order to the ruthless police to crush any uprising, is yet another indicator that Mugabe, Zim1 family, Zanu PF stalwarts and securocrats are prepared to slaughter Zimbabweans in order to maintain a firm grip on power.

Only a fool can believe that after 37years of oppression, under the blood thirsty deposed former president the despot 93 year old Mugabe, president Mnangagwa, Zanu pf stalwarts and securocrats can now readily step aside and hand back the country to its rightful owners, the people of Zimbabwe…keep dreaming! Wake up Zimbabwe, removing mugabe and replacinmg him with Mnangagwa was simply having the same old wine in anew bottle as Mnangagwa is a clone of Mugabe. DISCUSS!
