BREAKING NEWS: US PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP says air strikes involving US, France and UK on targets in Syria has begun.

BREAKING NEWS: US PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP says air strikes involving US, France and UK on targets in Syria has begun. He mentioned that last year US launched 58 missiles in precision attacks on Syria’s weapons manufacture sites and managed to take put 20% of these targets in a single launch. Tonight’s strikes appear set to be long running sustained military attacks.

There are reports that seven big explosions have been heard in Damascus and smoke can be seen billowing from the Eastern side of the city, with reporters indicating that it looks like World War 3 has started. Theresa May has saud its about forbidding the use of chemical weapons, degrading Syria’s chemical weapons capability. Some ministers in UK feel we need to take into consideration, the impact of the Iraqi war on whether or not UK should be involved in targeted strikes in Syria.

Russia has immediately condemned the overnight strikes and warned that there will be consequences as a direct result of these air strikes, though to everyone’s relief, Russia has confirmed that there was no contact between Russia and the Western powers as no Russian targets were hit last night. Planes and missiles from joint military strikes by US, France and Britain rained on targeted Syrians Chemical weapons sites.

Russia tweeted a response to this continuously developing political scenario in Syria in a Statement by the Ambassador Antonov on the strikes on #Syria:
A pre-designed scenario is being implemented. Again, we are being threatened. We warned that such actions will not be left without consequences. All responsibility for them rests with Washington, London and Paris.

It is reported that UK strikes on Syria were carried out last night by four Tornado jets which launched Tomahawks and conducted precise, co-ordinated and targeted strikes against Syria’s potential to carry out more chemical attacks. The operations were conducted and completed within roughly an hour and all jets returned safely back to base in Cyrus where they had taken off from.

Theresa May who joined the strikes without parliamentary approval as MPs are on holiday, says this is not about regime change but to degrade Syria’s chemical wepons capability. It is seen in the Uk , who say we live in a parliamentary democracy and parliamentary democracy has been by passed.

Its said to be a blow upon democracy because the British Prime Minister has literally ‘taken the military to war’ without parliamentary consent. It is important to say that she has not broken any laws as she can do this without going through or seeking the approval of parliamentary consent because she has Royal prerogative powers at her disposal. The royal prerogative is a body of customary authority, privilege, and immunity, recognised in the United Kingdom as the sole prerogative of the Sovereign and the source of many of the executive powers of the British government.

Theresa May says the full assessment of the exercise is being conducted but the allies are confident of the success of the attacks.

The UK opposition Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn says Theresa may should have gone through parliament for authority to join the attacks instead of just following US president Donald Trump. He says this should have been put to aparliamentary debate or vote.

The royal prerogative is a body of customary authority, privilege, and immunity, recognised in the United Kingdom as the sole prerogative of the Sovereign and the source of many of the executive powers of the British government.

The Syrian government has described this as a flagrant violation of International law.

The four RAF British jets were loaded with Storm Shadow missiles, The Storm shadow missiles are long-range air-launched cruise weapons which weigh approximately 900lbs, with a 180 mile distance range when launched.
The missiles are arguably, the most sophisticated air-launch weapons globally

They can hit well-defended static targets like facilities, bunkers and bridges and in this case Syria’s chemical weapons manufacture facilities.

The Storm Shadow missile detaches from the bomber, before its wings open up and the missiles immediately advance on a pre-programmed low and fast terrain-hugging attack altitude and flight path, below radar and air defence systems and therefore are next to imposibble to detect.

In the final approach, Storm Shadow missiles jettison their nose cones to reveal high-resolution infra-red cameras and then target recognition hardware matches images picked up by the camera with preprogrammed images of the destined target. More news to follow. By Sibusiso Ngwenya.
