Civil Service Pay Date Moved From 28th Dec 2015 To 5th January 2016

In a shocking display of the Zanu PF regime’s indifference, Zimbabwe’s civil servants, have had to face a most miserable Christmas because Mugabe’s Zanu PF regime has failed to pay them because its a dead broke government, which is failing to raise the much needed US$500 million wage bill for its bloated civil service.

To add insult to injury the ministry of Finance announced that the Education sector would not be paid on the 28th of December 2015 as expected but would instead receive their salaries on the 29 th of December 2015.

The Minister of Finance, Patrick Chinamasa has now announced that the rest of the civil service will not be paid this year on the 29th of December 2015 but instead will be paid next year on the 5th of January 2016.

Unsurprisingly, and for the most obvious reasons, the despot led, oppressive Zanu PF regime has only so far  paid the brutal Zimbabwe National Army ( ZNA) , a ruthless partisan Zanu PF millitary wing, whilst chopping and changing pensioner pay dates,. Zimbabwe’s pensioners, who mainly were unceremoniusly retired early, through no fault of their own, have generally not been paid for up to three months so far.

Whilst the rest of the nation and empty handed civil servants have to contend with a collapsed service delivery in Education, Health care, Roads, Electricity, Housing and Water supply, the ever gallivanting, ‘Vas Coda Mugabe, flew out of the country for a much needed break from a busy globe trotting schedule, to the middle East where he will spend his Christmas, new year and most of January while on annual leave.

Meanwhile the current acting president will be Vice President Phelekezela Mphoko, who will be later replaced by Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa in the second half of Mugabe’s annual leave and if it should so happen that Mugabe dies during that period, the then acting president will run the country for the next 90 days whilst the ruling party chooses someone else to take over both the party and government as the next President of Zimbabwe until the current presidential term expires in 2018.

i’m sure with the amount of suffering endured by Zimbabweans under Mugabe, Zim1 family, Zanu PF stalwarts and securocrats, its an undisputable fact that the general public but silent consensus is, ..Mugabe and all his Zanu PF must all go! Wake up Zimbabwe! By Sibusiso Ngwenya
