Coloureds also commonly refered to as Goffals, Kleurlinge, Mukiwa, Murungu, Muvheti’ in Zimbabwe are a group who have no prominent members of society leading not only them but Zimbabweans of any race or tribe, therefore their issues are not heard as coloureds are underrepresented.

They are viewed by some corners of our society as troublesome, drunkards, who love beer drinking, fighting, stabbing others and looked upon as people who lack ambition in life all going as far back as Zimbabwe’s original social classing and racist/political classing as they were thrown apart into areas like, Cranborne, Ardbernie, in Harare,Thorngove in Bulawayo etc. Their crisis is to a wider extent on being too ‘black to be whites ‘ or ‘too white’ to be black.

Coloureds are certainly family to both but understandably are victims of both races in terms of not being fully accepted and so are widely marginalised throughout in terms of opportunities in life,…Interesting!
