‘Current dispute between Jonathan Moyo and VP Mnangagwa is not a national issue’.George Charamba a.k.a Nathaniel Manheru,
PRESIDENT ROBERT MUGABE’S SPOKESPERSON , George Charamba a.k.a Nathaniel Manheru, also the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Information claims that the current dispute between Jonathan Moyo and Vice President Emerson Mnangagwa is not a national issue.
Moyo and Mnangagwa were allies but fell out in 2004 over the Tsholotsho Declaration spear headed by Jonathan Moyo and designed to lead to Mnangagwa’s appointment to vice-President of Zimbabwe before fired vice president Joice Mujuru.
The failed Tsholotsho declaration instead led to Moyo being fired from Zanu PF in 2004.
It is interesting that the bed hopping Jonathan Moyo’s issues are somehow turned to become national issues yet they only benefit him and lead to more suffering by the people of Zimbabwe if anything at all.
I say so because in 2004 Emmerson Mnangagwa was the ideal candidate for Zimbabwe’s vice presidency but today the man who can never be trusted stands is full support of the Grace Mugabe camp (G40) through demonising Mnangagwa.
According to columnist Manheru, Professor Jonathan Moyo is a Zanu PF politburo member and a minister by appointment and has no authority to speak on national issues.
The issue is bringing out Zanu pf secrets as Professor Jonathan Moyo yesterday revealed that George Charamba strongly suspected to be the controversial columnist who uses the pseudonymn , ‘Nathaniel Manheru’ had actually usurped the column from a writer, identified as Munyaradzi Huni.
Of course Moyo would know better because he was previously Zimbabwe’s Minister of Information, hence directly involved in the establishment and operation of the controversial Manheru column. Discuss! Manheru column, Tsholotsho declaration, POSA, AIPPA, Destruction of independant Media to mention a few are some of the slimy Jonathan Moyo’s scams.
Today he expects the nation to buy into his dirty politics and wade into the battle in support of his warped mentality, when in fact, Zimbabwe is where it is all because of Jonathan Moyo, who has been the life line to an at one time allmost dead and buried Zanu pf and Mugabe. The people of Zimbabwe continue to suffer today because of the slimy Jonathan Moyo who has crushed democracy and the people of Zimbabwe all to save his skin.
Zanu Pf can do us a favour by crushing all dissent in its ranks from stooges like Moyo and any victims, while we take a moment to reflect, will simply be chalked off to collateral damage as we sniff once, wipe off a false tear, wail loudly in public but celebrate behind closed doors,..another one bites the dust!
