A 31 year old soldier based at Darwendale routinely sneaked into his maid’s bedroom at night, lift her up taking her to another room to rape her.

Seven Munetsi did this on two occasions on his 14 year old maid.

He escaped with US$500 fine for raping with a minor after being found guilty.

The court heard that the first attack was in October last year.

At night Munetsi, sneaked into the room where his maid was sleeping with his kids.

He lifted her and took her to his bedroom and raped her.

The maid attempted to scream for help but Munetsi threatened to beat her up.

His wife was away at the time.

On February 25 this year around midnight Munetsi repeated his act again.

The following day, the maid disregarded the threats and filed a police report.

In a bid to evade arrest Munetsi tried to attack a police office who wanted to arrest him with a hoe. Source: H-Metro
