Economic Freedom Party leader Julius Malema participated in 2014 election funded with diamonds money through the Zim Embassy
A Zimbabwe Communist Party leader Ngqabutho Nicholas Mabhena based in South Africa has said Zanu PF must not forget that when Economic Freedom Party leader Julius Malema participated in the election as opposition to the ruling African National Congress there are the ones who funded him.
“The Zanu (PF) political leadership forgets that, in 2014 elections in South Africa, they funded EFF with diamonds money through the Zimbabwean Embassy in Pretoria,” he said.
“This was at a time, when Malema was friends with Kasukuwere. Zanu (PF) , who have never liked President Zuma from day one, used to wine and dine with Malema when it was clear that Malema was an embarrassment to President Zuma and the rest of the ANC membership.”
He said when Mugabe was Chairperson of SADC , he told those who cared to listen when he was in Botswana, that South Africa needed a revolution.
“This was clearly in support of Malema against the political leadership of the ANC. Now that Malema is pushing the Team Lacoster political agenda, they suddenly realise that he is a demagogue. Shame on Zanu (PF), the economic looters,” he said.
