A 34 year old man who recently got released from jail after completing 12 years jail term for murder has been slapped with another 20 years in jail
for raping his own 14 year old daughter.The man appeared before Bindura magistrate William Bhila. The court heard that on March 31 this year the daughter was left in his company after her grandmother went to the plot to collect vegetables.  She went to sleep in the kitchen since she was not feeling well.The father then grabbed and raped her. The following day the father said he wanted to watch over the girl as her clothes were blood stained which he
said suggested she was sleeping around.

However the girl instead revealed that he raped her and a report made to the police led to his arrest.Source: H-Metro
