Harare Bound Bus, Burst Tyre & Overturns in Zambia :8 Zims Feared Dead
EIGHT Zimbabweans are feared to have died while 53 were injured Sunday when a Harare-bound bus burst a tyre just after Kafu Gorge in Zambia.
Zambian police confirmed the accident, saying the King Lion Scania bus overturned along the Chirundu Road and landed on its right flank trapping passengers inside.
The accident occurred at 10 AM.
According to the cops, 27 Zimbabweans are admitted at Kafue Hospital.
The cops said the driver, who was speeding, failed to negotiate a corner resulting in the accident. The driver, identified as Nyamande, was by Sunday evening said to be still at large.
Names and nationalities of the perished and the injured are expected to be released this Monday. source-newzimbawe
