‘ZANU PF must bring corruption to Zacc, the right fora not just meaningless Mnangagwa inquiry commissions ‘-Zacc

The Zimbabwe Anti Corruption Commission has invited the Zanu-PF youth league to bring evidence to prove their corruption allegations against senior party and government officials including secretary for administration Obert Mpofu.
Zacc chairperson Loice Matanda Moyo, in a press conference in Harare, said corruption must not be dealt with at a press conference but reported to her organisation.
“Corruption should not be dealt with at a press conference but people should fight corruption effectively by reporting corruption and bringing the evidence to Zacc so that the perpetrators are dealt with,” said Moyo.
She said its not necessary for President Emmerson Mnangagwa to institute a commission of inquiry into the allegations by the youth league as Zacc serves that very purpose.
When asked if Mnangagwa is wrong to appoint a commission, Moyo said, “perhaps that’s a party issue but if they want to fight corruption the this is the right fora.”
After a charged politburo meeting last week discussing the allegations by the Zanu-PF youth league, the party resolved that Mnangagwa would appoint a commission to investigate the issue.
