Whilst I don’t support Jonathan Moyo because of his deceitful nature, we should never sit back and claim that the past is past, without government acknowledgement of the gukurahundi atrocities, accountability of what happened, how, when , why and by who, including, reburial of victims, compensation of survivors and families of victims, setting up memorials and apologies for what happened, all done through credible Truth and Reconciliation exercises led by the parliament of Zimbabwe.

We need peace, healing and closure, to move a united nation past this. Look at how gukurahundi led to many matebeleland people forced into destitution, due to deliberate marginalisation by Mugabe’s Zanu pf government. Many children were born and died and many are in their thirties with no birth certificates or IDs in Matebeleland and Midlands as fathers identity and required detail could not be provided. These were required for the Registrar generals office to register these children correctly but because fathers whereabouts, (killed by 5th brigade during gukurahundi) could not be accepted by government, these children were left without documents in Matebeleland and generally resolved to border jump to Soth Africa where it was easier to change names, secure South African passports and documents, some false some genuine and move on with their lives.

I hope people of Zimbabwe, begin to understand why the Matebeland Mthwakazi Republic Part (MRP was heavily against what it deemed as a massive deployment of Shona teachers in the Mthwakazi to complete the 1979 grand plan. They argued that the imposition of Shona curriculum, and about 14 Shona councillors and countless Shona MPs across Mthwakazi, was part of the agenda as in Mashonaland, there is no imposition of Ndebele teachers , councillors or school curriculum hence their demand for Secession or break away from Zimbabwe as Mthwakazi state because they do not feel part of Zimbabwe.

To show the people of Zimbabwe, how dangerous Mnangagwa and the military are, look at last week when Mnangagwa went to Bulawayo International Trade Fair Grounds to meet churches and MRP youth were peacefully protesting outside about the gukurahundi genocide. They were swiftly arrested not by the police but by the military and detained at 1brigade Brady barracks. This is supposed to be anation at peace, yet people who witnessed gukurahundi and whose families were butchered by Mnangagwa and the military are arrested, not by the police, for protesting peacefully and detained, not at police stations but at military barracks.

Not surpisingly so, they were moved, after human rights campaigners and the media paid attention to the matter, to Bulawayo Police station but heavily injured, with broken bones and other wounds,..yet we claim we are free and united while our own kith and kin are now still butchered by the same devils who murdered their parents and siblings? I hope Zimbabweans are realising what we have done by empowering this ruthless Mnangagwa, zanu pf stalwarts and securocrats, the worst is yet to come! Wake up Zimbabwe!

In my opinion, the Secession issue is one of national concern as it touches on unity, peace, and development and the current government made up of the same generals and Mnagagwa who brought about this broken people, hatred, death and destruction across Matebeland and Midlands are now sadly in charge, having cemented the Zanu pf power.

Lets not celebrate Mugabe’s removal as a victory because the same people if not worse are now in charge,..no change! To the Discerning Eyenewzimbabwevision, we were probably better off with Mugabe and Grace who had destroyed Zanu pf, removed Mnangagwa and were set to remove Chiwenga, weaken the military power, but unfortunately, Chiwenga is now a vice President, and minister of Defence, connected to the army and more powerful policy wise, surrounded by fellow henchmen like former Air Force of Zimbabwe commander Perrance Shiri and Rtd major general Sibusiso Moyo .

Wake up Zimbabwe, many people are now rightly feeling we were only a few months from an election we could have removed Mugabe and Zanu pf, but now unfortunately, Mnangagwa and the generals have strengthened their power and its difficult to see how they would ever accept handing over Zimbabwe, election or no election, because they see themselves as liberators of Zimbabwe both during the liberation struggle and in November 2017 when they removed Mugabe.

The gukurahundi issue will for a long time haunt Zimbabwe, if its not addressed properly. We all know that gukurahundi was a tribalist Zanu pf murderous campaign against the Ndebele people of Matebeleland and Midlands.

Over 20,000 Ndebele’s were butchered, many thrown into deep mine shaft shafts, some buried alive by their wives, pregnant women slashed open with bayonets because they allegedly were carrying ‘dissident babies’. This was all done by the North Korean trained Shona Fifth Brigade under Mugabe’s Zvimba nephew Perrance Shiri, formerly known as Bigboy Samson Chikerema. The Chikerema’s are Mugabe’s family from his mother the late Mbuya ‘Bona’, remember Mugabe’s cousin the late nationalist James Chikerema?

All that the people of Matebeland and Midlands have been calling for for three decades is an acknowledgement of the genocide by the Mugabe and Zanu pf, particularly the generals that now lead Zimbabwe.

Lets briefly review history, who was responsible? Mugabe was directly responsible as the head of government, then Prime Minister of the republic of Zimbabwe. The late General Solomon Mujuru, former Rex Nhongo was the then head of the Zimbabwe National Army (ZNA) and fully aware of all that was happening because the army fell under him.

Zimbabwe’s Vice President Chiwenga was the then head of 1Brigade in Bulawayo Brady Barracks and all launches by the Fifth brigade across Matebeleland were coordinated from there because he provided logistics to the ruthless military operations.

President Emmerson Mnangagwa was the Minister of State Security, responsible for the ruthless CIO which was a key player in the gukurahundi murders. Mnangagwa a.k.a ‘gukurahundist’ is considered the chief architect of gukurahundi, the final stages of the 1979 Grand plan to subjugate the Ndebele.

General Constantino Chiwenga, a liberation war veteran , who originally liberated Zimbabwe during the liberation struggle, again led the liberation of Zimbabwe 37 years later from his own master the deposed president Robert Mugabe.

He along with other generals consider themselves as liberators of Zimbabwe and custodians of the liberation of Zimbabweans. The government of Zimbabwe is heavily militarised with figures like Mugabe’s cousin the RTD Airforce Commander General Perrance Shiri, and major General Sibusiso Moyo. We are also reliably informed that the generals have demanded that at least 25 % of the seats to be contested by Zanu pf in 2018 must field serving or retired military personnel.

For Zimbabweans to fully understand why i say these filthy rich, ‘criminal’ caucus of generals are not worth trusting, look at how they have milked other nations, suffering people, for example in DRC one of the richest African nations mineral wise yet one of the poorest because of the pilfering generals and other companies. Children are used in child labour to mine, fight and in marriage because of the suffering in DRC yet our generals became filthy rich because of their criminal activity, greed and heart less ness. Do you really expect they are there tp improve your welfare as Zimbabweans or simply to lign their pockets with more ill gotten riches? Wake up Zimbabwe, Mnangagwa, Zanu pf stalwarts must all go. We do not want amilitary state! The key strategist for the Zimbabwean criminal network in looting minerals was then Speaker of the Parliament and former National Security Minister, now President of Zimbabwe, Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa whose key ally was the late Commander of ZDF and Executive Chairman of COSLEG, General Vitalis Musunga Gava Zvinavashe.

The deposed President Mugabe’s nephew, Air Marshal Perence Shiri a.k.a Samson Bigboy Chikerema was tasked with military procurement and organizing air support for the pro-Kinshasa armed groups fighting in the eastern DRC. He was a member of the inner circle of Zimbabwe Defence Forces diamond traders who converted Harare into a then illicit diamond-trading centre.

The criminal caucus included Zimbabwe International Minister Brigadier General Sibusiso Busi Moyo, who was Director General of COSLEG and an advised to both Tremalt and Oryx Natural Resources, organisations which represented covert Zimbabwean military financial interests in negotiations with DRC State mining companies. Oryx Natural Resources, was being used as a front for ZDF and its military company OSLEG.

Air Commodore Mike Tichafa Karakadzai was the Deputy Secretary of COSLEG and tasked with directing policy and procurement. He was key in arranging the Tremalt cobalt and copper deal. Colonel Simpson Sikhulile Nyathi was appointed the Director of defence policy for COSLEG. Zimbabwe’s former Minister of Defence and former Security Minister, Sidney Sekeramayi, was tasked with coordinating the military leadership and he was a shareholder in COSLEG.

It is known that in DRC, the richest and most readily exploitable mineral resource were being moved into joint ventures controlled by private companies. At least 30 businessmen, politicians and military officers are the main beneficiaries of secret contracts and off-shore private companies, valued up to multi-billion-dollar corporate theft of the DRC’s mineral assets. The elite network continuously attempts to legitimize their corporate theft and market looted assets to legitimate international mining companies.

Wake up Zimbabwe these generals removed Mugabe, installed Mnangagwa and now run the nation while Mnangagwa is just a powerless figure head under their control. Chiwenga is now more powerful than ever with his new position , military links and government influence. One would have to live on mars not to realise that Zec is staffed by retired military personnel. The whole system is designed to ensure that Zanu pf is not going to hand over the country to the people, vote or no vote!

Yes we celebrate the fall of Mugabe but unless and until we remove Mnangagwa, the whole Zanu PF structure from top to bottom we have only jumped from the frying pan into the fire. Zimbabwe is now a military state and its worrying when we see the death and destruction inflicted upon the innocent by military dictatorships worldwide, case in point recent horrors by the military in Burma that caused over a million people, whose villages were burnt, families raped, tortured and to fled to neighbouring Bangladesh for safety as poor refugees with nothing but the clothing on their backs, while the powerless figure head who is a military installation like Mnangagwa, watched. A military government is dangerous, we need to restore a constitutional government elected by the people. Wake up Zimbabwe, M nangagwa was never voted for but installed by the army as your president and if you sit back long enough your subjugation by the military will be normalised!

Mnangagwa is nothing but a military puppet and the power lies in the hands of the generals who call the shots, either he does what they want or they will remove him as simply as they did to Mugabe and then installed him. Zimbabweans need to seriously push for real changes that include Electoral reforms, levelling of the electoral play field, opening up of rural areas to campaigning and voter education by activists and opposition, demilitarisation of institutions and government, removal of draconian AIPPA and POSA and bring in SADC, AU and UN monitoring of elections in order to have free and fair elections if we are to remove Mnangagwa, Zanu pf stalwarts and securocrats.

Remember in 2008, deposed former president Robert Mugabe lost the election to MDC T Richard Morgan Tsvangirai and was about to give in and concede losing the election when the generals stepped in with Mnangagwa’s full knowledge and stopped him from doing that, and then this led to Mugabe with holding the election results for several months while he and the generals used the military to murder thousands. Remember this led, to the generals urgently ordering weapons from China to be used by Mugabe in fighting the people and MDC T attempts to legally take power after the 2008 election victory.

What most Zimbabweans failed to realise about these generals is that they are a ruthless lot who in 2008, the real coup in Zimbabwe, stopped Mugabe from stepping down after losing the election to Tsvangirai and allowed thousands of MDC T opposition members to be butchered, and Mugabe to with hold election results.

A Chinese ship named, the An Yue Jiang reportedly Captained by Sunaijun, was on standby in South African, Durban Port, laden with a deadly consignment of 77-tonnes of weapons which included three million rounds of ammunition for AK-47 rifles and small arms, 1,500 rocket-propelled grenades and thousands of mortar rounds, mortar tubes and other military weapons, from Beijing to Harare, Zimbabwe Ministry of Defence.

South African Port workers refused to offload the shipment as they knew very well, Mugabe was preparing to massacre opposition in Zimbabwe in a bid to stay in power even though he had lost the 2008 ballot as he was unwilling to announce the result and protected by the Generals behind it all.

The South African High Court, played a critical role in delaying a potential massacre of Zimbabweans by declaring that, the deadly ammunition could only be unloaded at port but not be transported by road in South Africa. This court stance, coupled with the Port workers refusal to offload the weapons, led to the An Yue Jiang, sailing off towards Mozambique and around the coast of Africa port to port in an attempt to offload the weapons escorted by international security observers and TV cameras on planes and helicopters keeping the world fully aware of the unfolding events, until eventually it returned to China with the weapons.

Remember again, these same generals were active in all genocides, murambatsvina, Chiadzwa gunship helicopters, murderous white farmer evictions, gukurahundi (Shiri as Fifth Brigade commander, Chiwenga as 1 Brigade commander in Bulawayo, the logistics centre for all 5th brigade raids across Matebeleland and Midlands). Mnangagwa throughout all genocides was either Minister of state security in charge of CIO or Justice Minister.

Mnangagwa, Shiri and Chiwenga are the real criminals behind Mugabe’s murderous reign. They live in fear of losing the country to the people of Zimbabwe as any shift towards legitimate rule, democratic governance, accountability can lead to them losing power, wealth and loot and worse of all prosecution for all their crimes. These three generals are key with Mnangagwa, blood stained and will not sit back and watch Zimbabwe handed over to the people,..wake up Zimbabwe! In theory, Mugabe was just a puppet to these generals, just like Mnangagwa and the country belongs to them,..wake up Zimbabwe! This is why these generals protected Mugabe in the coup, rewarded his blood filled past with US$10million, and gave him immunity from prosecution because they know they are infact the killers,..case in point, Mugabe has never physically tortured, maimed, shot or even slapped anyone,..it was the generals! They actually were not protecting him but protecting themselves in the get of jail card they gave him. Mnangagwa, Zanu pf stalwarts and securocrats must all go! Register on the BVR to vote and vote wisely!

I always say, fear will not get us anywhere. the people of Zimbabwe are entitled to democratic rule free of military intervention and we can only achieve this by registering on the BVR to vote, removing draconian AIPPA, POSA laws, opening up rural areas and the media to opposition and activist campaigns and voter education, demiltarising institutions, aid, food, seed and farming implement distribution as these are not zanu pf but national items for all to benefit from. lets all work towards rebuilding Zimbabwe as one.

We seriously need to consider going back to the streets, peacefully protesting and if we removed Mugabe peacefully with the world watching, lets not hesitate to remove Mnangagwa same style if it calls for it again if our demands are not met. We should not rush into voting in a ballot that is nothing but a face cover meant to legitimise an unconstitutional government, hence the theft of the people’s ballot. Think carefully Zimbabweans, do you seriously think, Mnagagwa can reform Zanu pf out of power,…wake up! We the people of Zimbabwe have the power to bring change, not for ourselves but for our children and future generations, all races, all tribes and political orientation,..lets fight as one! Mnangagwa, Zanu pf stalwarts and securocrats must all go,…no military state!

We need a new Zimbabwe, free of all the corrupt, thieving oppressive, murderous bunch. Lets not sit back and claim as we gullibly did under Mugabe, we are aChristian people, give it time,…erm,..God helps those who helps themselves and this is the time to stand, up and use the people power,..no reforms, no elections! We need to bring in AU, SADC and UN to monitor the elections as we only have one shot in five years to undo the damage created by empowering Mnangagwa, Zanu pf stalwarts and securocrats!

My great grand dad Nyamangara relocated from Zvimba communal lands just over a century ago when the white settler column arrived, to Matebeleland and changed his name to Ngwenya.

The family totem is Gushungo and due to this rich history, I see no difference between a Ndebele and a Shona person because I was born and raised lovingly by Zimbabweans who respect unity. This is why I will always proudly speak out for a united Zimbabwean people whether coloured, white, black, any race, tribe, race or religion against an oppressive Mnangagwa, Zanu pf stalwarts and securocrats .

I pride myself in rich Ndebele and Shona heritage and have absolutely no room for tribalists or racists in life.
We have succeeded in removing Mugabe, now lets all together all races and tribes in Zimbabwe, remove Mnangagwa, Zanu pf stalwarts and securocrats and restore democracy in the motherland!
