Justice Makarau head of ZEC since 2013. has resigned as Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC) chairperson
Justice Makarau a Supreme Court judge, secretary for the Judicial Services Commission (JSC) and and also ZEC chairperson has resigned. This will be a welcome development as Zimbabweans saw Makarau’s actions as a conflict of interest , being a Zvimba girl, lovingly called a daughter by Mugabe and typically there to serve Zanu pf interests yet sitting on the bench.
