Karoi man (85) arrested for burning cheating wife (75) and niece (7) to death.

A 75-year-old Karoi woman – Rugare Kashamise was burnt to death by her husband after she was caught red-handed with her lover who is their neighbour.

It is alleged that Kashamise had a long standing affair with her nieghbour – Geshom Phiri who is a widower.

She died with her seven year old niece while Phiri managed to escape unharmed.Kashamise’s sister, Mary said she tried to warn her about the affair but she continued seeing Phiri.

“At some point we had a family meeting as their relationship was getting out of hand but that too did not help” said Mary.

Kashamise’s husband – Alfred Samalani aged 85 was arrested for murder. Source – Byo24News
