STAFF NOTICE
FROM : MANAGING DIRECTOR
TO : ALL STAFF
SUBJECT : STAFF CHANGES
Dear Team,
As you are all aware, the business has been going through a number of changes to enable it to achieve three main objectives as set out early in the year. These are;
- Increased revenues;
- Improved efficiencies and;
- Reduced costs.
To achieve these three critical strategic goals, the company has resized, which has resulted in a number of colleagues exiting the business.
This has been done to reduce our wage bill from the current 37% of revenue to manageable levels of 20%.In order to improve our efficiencies, management will be transferring staff to positions or departments where these employees will be able to apply themselves better; thereby improving the performance of the business as a whole.
External recruitments will be very minimal as we believe that we have the right skills in the business.
Key Appointments
I would like to take this opportunity to announce key staff movements that have occurred within the business.
1. Kholwani Nyathi has been appointed Editor of The Standard and Tangai Chipangura will continue as his deputy.

3. Robert Chikadzi has been appointed Regional Manager – South and will be in charge of the Bulawayo office.
