Celebrating the suffering, oppression, death, high prices, lack of democracy, lack of accountability and more , by the Zanu pf Mnangagwa militarised regime. Lest we forget what happened yesterday, President Emmerson Mnangagwa who is Mugabe’s clone, his right hand man, the gukurahundi genocide architect, stood shoulder to shoulder with Mugabe from the beginning in the early 60s and helped build Zanu pf into the killing machine that it is, butchering over 20,000 Ndebeles in gukurahundi, and further violence in all Zimbabwe’s general elections, murambatvina, white farmer evictions and Chiadzwa diamond fields genocide along with twice killing several civilians in broad daylight using the military in Harare in 2018, during the general election and the public protests last year.

As if that wasn’t enough, Mnangagwa celebrated all these killings by giving Mugabe immunity from prosecution over all these killings because he knows he is equally guilty. Mnangagwa gave Mugabe a US$10 million golden handshake as his retirement package, yet the same regime, has no money to help the thousands of victims of the cyclone IDAI disaster, Zimbabwe is on the verge of the next cholera disaster, prices are sky rocketing and the suffering continues. As I always warned, removing Mugabe and replacing him with Mnangagwa changes nothing, because the same oppressive system he created using the militarised regime, oppressive laws and Zanu pf are still in place managing the system, hence no change!

Today 18/04/2019 as you celebrate independance, think twice before gathering at Independance celebration centres including the heroes acre. You are only celebrating your own suffering. All that Mugabe did was to remove the oppressive, racist white RhodesianIan Smith Regime and replacing it with an equally oppressive black face Mugabe led regime, now under Mnangagwa. Stay away from all independance celebrations, let the military do so by themselves, you are not free,..wake up Zimbabwe!
