MATEBELELAND SUFFERS ANOTHER DEVASTATING POLITICAL BLO-as Zapu has officially cut ties with Coalition of Democrats (Code),

Zapu the major opposition name in Matebeleland from the days of the late former Zimbabwe, Vice Pesident Joshua Nkomo has now according to its leader, Dumiso Dabenga cut ties with the Elton Mangoma-led Coalition of Democrats (Code), over differences between them

Dumiso Dabengwa claims Code has no respect for Zapu’s liberation war values. Zapu recently merged with Progressive Democrats of Zimbabwe (PDZ),party led by United Kingdom-based Barbara Nyagomo,

This comes weeks after the merger of Zapu and the Progressive Democrats of Zimbabwe (PDZ), led by United Kingdom-based Barbara Nyagomo, Dabengwa’s deputy in the merger.

The break up comes soon after the stripping of MDC T Vice President Thokozani Khuphe’s MP status in parliament on an MDC T ticket, and her dismissal from MDC T as the elected Vice president, in other peole’s opinion, a major blow for Matebeleland.

Zimbabwe is on the verge of major political changes from that region, imagine if former MDC T Vice President Thokozani Khuphe joins hands with Zapu leader Dumiso Dabengwa. That would clearly tip the Matebeleland vote in their favour , because at the Moment Matebeleland voters lack a stable and credible base to rally behind in their fight for equality, justice and unity. The circus continues.

Code includes Mavambo/Kusile/Dawn (Simba Makoni) Zimbabweans United for Democracy Party (Farai Mbira), African Democratic Party (Marceline Chikasha), Progressive Democrats of Zimbabwe led by Barbara Nyagomo, Democratic Assembly for Restoration and Empowerment (Gilbert Dzikiti), and ZimFirst (Maxwell Shumba).
