This is exactly why its reported that President Trump reportedly referred to African nations and Haiti as “shithole” countries,..hmmn, not a very good opinion but if you have lived under Mugabe, Mnangagwa, Zanu pf stalwarts and securocrats, you may rightly disagree with such a flowery description but genuinely agree that he could have a point to put across yet he should have found a more appropriate way of saying the same thing,..I shall not speak!
This is the same government that has rewarded the deposed former president Robert Mugabe with a US$10 million all happening and some brainwashed supporters claim its culture, chiefs, blah blah ..aaah! What culture, spending millions on fancy vehicles for chiefs yet the vehicles will soon be damaged on the poor roads in place, some stolen by unemployed Zimbabweans, in a nation with over 90% unemployed, collapsed service delivery in education, health care, water reticulation, transport, electricity, housing along numerous other areas of priority, yet here some fools are actually crediting Mnangagwa for prioritising the luxury of chiefs,…. then we complain when other leaders refer to African nations as , ‘shithole countries’,. Can you justifiably disagree, knowing that they blatantly choose to ignore the people’s suffering especially what they have inflicted upon their own kith and kin and prioritise rewarding people like chiefs, the same chiefs who like the military are the power house for the mnangagwa, Zanu pf stalwarts and securocrats regimes…interesting!
I keep emphasising that the people have the power to influence positive change through social media across the global village and open up to progressive debate. What is happening in Zimbabwe particularly in just over a month since Mugabe was removed and Mnangagwa took power is that Zanu pf are realigning themselves to rule until as predicted by the late former VP Simon Mzenda ‘donkey’s grow horns!’
ZIMBABWE’S President Mnangagwa gave the country’s traditional leaders 52 cars at the Zanu PF Convention Centre in Gweru on Saturday morning.
Mnangagwa said his government is committed to fulfil its promise to give chiefs cars and that there are 52 cars today and 26 more will arrive next week and so on.
Mnangagwa promised all chiefs will get new cars before the 2018 elections although today Zanu pf will distribute 42 cars, 6 cars per province.
President of the Chiefs Council, Chief Fortune Charumbira also demanded that Mnangagwa’s Zanu pf regime must revisit the welfare of chiefs.
It is obvious that Mnangagwa, Zanu pf stalwarts and securocrats are strengthening Zanu pf power, cementing their hold over the rural areas by making it impenetrable to activists and opposition campaigns.
Read into the game and see Mnangagwa’s games, these vehicles were presented at a Zanu pf venue and obviously makes Chiefs always associate their nice cars with Zanu pf and always feel obligated to help Zanu pf win all elections at whatever cost ,..wake up Zimbabwe!
Mnangagwa clearly cemented the Mnangagwa, Zanu pf stalwarts and securocrats monopoly over wealth and power this way as traditional leaders have always been part of the corrupt regime’s strength through limiting food, seed, land and agricultural implement distribution to only Zanu pf supporters.
Even more shocking is the fact that Mnangagwa assured traditional leaders that the Mnangagwa, zanu pf stalwarts and securocrats regime will build courts for chiefs. This is all simple vote buying and the come back will be vote coercion of the people by the chiefs and their herdmen.
Mnangagwa may pretend to the people of Zimbabwe that he is rebuilding Zimbabwe, but lets be realistic, after almost 20 years of accelerated oppression by his father mentor and advisor deposed former president Mugabe, is this really what Mnangagwa discerned from the people’s calls.
Wake up Zimbabwe, Mnangagwa can pretend but lets be realistic, he will never reform Zanu pf out of power.
Remember in December 2017 at the 17 th Annual December conference, president Emmerson presented a document showing Zanu pf intends to establish a media house. for the Zanu pf ruling party to counter what it calls an increasingly hostile independent media. He went on to state that Zanu pf will shortly set up community radio stations across all provinces and provide particularly rural masses an additional platform for Zanu pf to involve the people in national and other political developments.
Yesterday President Mnangagwa in obvious acknowledgement of the efforts by the people of Zimbabwe, to join the global village and successfully cause Mnangagwa, Zanu pf stalwarts and securocrats continuous sleepless nights, introduced himself on the social networking site in a short video clip on his facebook site, as he joined other African leaders like Zambias Edgar Lungu, Botswana’s Khama and Uganda’s Museveni who engage with their electorate on social media through opening his official Facebook account/
Its not rocket science that Zanu pf is certainly on a winning spree, whilst opposition are just divided and failing to rally support from the people. The truth is that ‘love or hate’ Zanu pf and Mnangagwa they are selling the right image to the people, that of unity, peace, progress, anti corruption and national development, but of course if you understand them well you’d immediately recognise that the man who has been behind the corrupt zanu pf for over half a century , will never reform Zanu pf out of power,..wake up Zimbabwe! These criminals are only using you the people to legitimise their ill gotten wealth, fraudulent regime, corruption and crime.
