‘BEAUTIFUL ZIMBABWE, WE SHALL NEVER FORGET YOU…singing!’ Mugabe brought Zimbabwe 18 April 1980 independence, in one week of his death, basic commodities such as bread, mealie-meal, cooking oil, meat, rice and vegetables have increased by up to 100 percent ,pushing the prices beyond the reach of most consumers. Yes we will never forget you, beautiful Zimbabwe, courtesy of the beautiful 37 years ‘rule’ by despot Mugabe who collapsed agriculture, the backbone of the economy, collapsed Service delivery in Education, Health care, Housing, Employment, Transport amongst more suffering brought by the lack of Respect for the rule of law, lack of accountability, lack of democracy, no human rights, draconian laws, oppressive authority, corruption and all the ‘isms’ you can think of, I ask you again, what does a normal Zimbabwean want to celebrate today, the fact that Mugabe has impoverished the nation and made us the laughing stock of the globe?
One of the last wishes that the late Robert Gabriel Mugabe indicated was that his wife, Dr Grace Mugabe MUST NEVER leave the casket bearing his remains for the duration of the funeral proceedings whilst in Zimbabwe up until his mortal remains have been interred.

A two-litre bottle of cooking oil, has increased from $28, to $35, 10kg bag of mealie-meal $27 to about $68 even though most supermarkets do not have the mealie-meal in stock.
A loaf of bread has also gone up from $6,90 to $9 ,1kg of salt up from $4 to $7, 1kg packet of Cremora milk has gone up from $40 to $50 , 2kg rice has increased from $20 to $25, a pocket of potatoes from $38 to $50, 2kg portion of chicken cuts is now selling for between $40 and $45 while the price of a and a kg of beef now $39 or more mainly due to changing interbank rates and speculation by retailers and the fact that Government has stopped publishing inflation figures.
It doesnt help that Zimbabweans industries face regular long periods of interrupted power supplies and have to pay idle workers.
Prices are not commensurate with the levels of salaries and people cannot afford the prices and most workers feel its pointless to go to work. I ask you again, what does a normal Zimbabwean want to celebrate today, the fact that Mugabe has impoverished the nation and made us the laughing stock of the globe? Mugabe we say RIP and may your end be the end or at the very least the beginning of better things to come, the people of Zimbabwe have suffered for too long under this militarised Zanu pf regime now led by Mugabe’s clone Mnangagwa,..the whole system must be dismantled, we need the military to be pushed back to barracks and the nation handed over to a civillian government or at the very least , a transistional government that will move the nation forward,..
Robert Mugabe will be buried early next week in his Zvimba village, in his homestead in Kutama and not at the Zimbabwe national Heroes acre monument for liberation heroes, according to the Mugabe family today.
“His body will lie in state at Kutama on Sunday night… followed by a private burial – either Monday or Tuesday – not at the Zimbabwe National Heroes Acre, a decision by the whole fMugabe amily,” according to his nephew Leo Mugabe. Pictured here is the MDC opposition party president Nelson Chamisa consolling the former First Lady of Zimbabwe, Robert Mugabe’s wife, motormouth Grace Mugabe’ Saddam died like a rat in a hole, Mugabe will not be buried at the prestigious monument, a shrine to all fallen Liberation heroes but at his village, does anyone see a trend here about dictators,..Im just saying!
