Mugabe Is President For Life: Zanu-PF National Commissar, Kasukuwere

Zanu-PF national commissar Saviour Kasukuwere has declared that it is taboo for any official in the ruling party to dream of taking over power from President Robert Mugabe, as long as he is alive.

Addressing a campaign rally in Mbire, Kanyemba Mashonaland Central province, Kasukuwere said ousted Vice-President Joice Mujuru’s waterloo was holding unsanctioned meetings with United States diplomats at her private residence.

Kasukuwere said Mujuru was, in 2009, “dragged” by former Mbire MP David Butau to meet former US Ambassador Charles Ray and this marked her political downfall.
