Mugabe’s Broke Gvt Releases US$6 Million For War Veterans & Collaborators, Plus Ex Political Detainees

In a surprising and most ridiculous waste of state resources, the Zanu PF Regime Treasury department has availed US$6 million to the  the Ministry of War Veterans, War Collaborators, ex-Political Detainees and Restrictees. Zimbabwe National Liberation War Veterans Association, Chairman, Christopher Mutsvangwa argues that it will enable   recipients to settle immediate demands.

This is shocking to the struggling Zimbabweans at a time when the government is still trying to complete December 2015 wages and bonus payments to civil servants and pension payments because of its dire financial status.

The crisis is exacerbated by the indifference displayed by president Robert Mugabe and his two  deputies as the president is enjoying almost a month long holiday in the far east with his family and a plane load of his usual Zanu PF entourage and security.

At the same time, the acting Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa recently hired a private jet to fly with his wife Auxillia to share some quality time with the first family and on his return, the second vice president Phelekezela Mphoko has also flown to the far east to equally enjoy some quality time with the first family.

Its not rocket science therefore, that, the big guns have lost touch with the people’s suffering,..wake up Zimbabwe! By Sibusiso Ngwenya
