The Zimbabwean government has officially launched the controversial pledge, which to many is nothing more than forcing children to idolise and salute a certain being.
THE CONTROVERSIAL, EVIL ZANU PF NATIONAL PLEDGE
Almighty God, in whose hands our future lies, I salute the national flag.
United in our diversity by our common desire for freedom, justice and equality.
Respecting the brave fathers and mothers who lost lives in the Chimurenga/ Umvukela
and national liberation struggles.
We are proud inheritors of our national resources.
We are proud creators and participants in our vibrant traditions and cultures.
We commit to honesty and the dignity of hard work
Zimbabwe Lawyers for Human Rights , activists, opposition, civic society , parents and churches argue that, forcing children to recite the pledge is unconstitutional and against the religious beliefs of christians, thus going against the peoples will, in a christian society.
To the discerning eye, this is an attempt by Mugabe’s evil regime, to finally officially declare Zanu PF a religion for the brainwashed, idol worshipers to salvage Mugabe’s significance in a broken society. Having lost all dignity, the oppressive regime are desperately seeking to regain relevance by brainwashing the children and holding back the democratic people’s attempt to heal the broken society and move the nation forward in a united, peaceful, progressive, prosperous, equal and just nation, ceratinly a dream beyond everyone’s reach under Mugabe, Zim1 family, Zanu PF stalwarts and securocrats.
