No Bonus Pay date: Teachers Association (ZIMTA) Threaten, Crippling Strike.

Mugabe’s absence over the festive season, and his inexperienced deputies in place at a time when unemployment running at over 90 %, with  collapsed service delivery in health, roads, electricity, and  housing is setting a stage for fireworks in the beginning of  2016 .
The already strained and almost inexistent education service delivery crisis  in Zimbabwe has reached alarming proportions as Mugabe’s Zanu PF regime is operating on  little or no revenue.
Teachers are yet unaware of pay date  for December 2015 and bonus availability, meaning that, tomorrow will be one of the most gloomy Christmases for them.
As a result of this, the disillusioned teachers led by the Zimbabwe Teacher’s Association (ZIMTA), a body considered to be  the largest and most influential professional teacher trade union in the country, has issued a real and pending threat of a a crippling strike in January 2016.
The Zanu PF regime has failed to deliver on promised bonuses yet the despot President Robert Mugabe happily flew off to the East on Wednesday for his annual holiday, away from the miserable setting in the country.

The Zimbabwe  Teachers Association (ZIMTA) has defiantly announced that the organisation wishes to advise all its stakeholders, that they cannot be held to account for  their actions in January 2016 as a result of Bonus pay dates uncertainity.

Zimta are further concerned  with Mugabe’s Zanu PF regime’s  failure to deliver on bonuses as president Mugabe’s Bonus guarantee .
This all rides on the  regime’s cruel  intentions of  milking them of every penny  through  national health schemes and maternity schemes  deductions ,off their already low and inadequate, miserable salaries.
The Zimta feel that the regimes deliberate  failure  to remit medical aid subscriptions to Public Service Medical Aid Society, (PSMAS)  directly  compromises health care service for the teachers and places their lives in danger due to the inherent dangers associated with lack of health covers.
As a nation, we all have a responsibility to rise up in defiance to oppressive authority, and reclaim the motherland from the heartless, corrupt,  Mugabe and his Zanu PF, Zim1 family, Zanu PF stalwarts and securocrats who monopolise wealth and power and treat the motherland like a personal farm.
There is a time in life when a people should be bold enough to weigh the pros and cons of living and dying under oppression or dying whilst removing an oppressive regime. At this advanced stage of our suffering, its fair to say, either way Zimbabweans will die,…Whats there to lose? Obviously nothing to lose but a lot to gain in rising up in defiance to the regime, ..you do the maths! By Sibusiso Ngwenya
