People have the power to influence positive change through social media across the global village and open up to progressive debate.

I have always stated that we the people have the power  to influence positive change through social media and many people have been slow or totally out of sync with  the global village, therefore not open to progressive debate.
Zimbabwe’s deposed former president Mugabe was vehemently opposed to media, particularly social media as his oppressive authority had no relevance in the safe space afforded to the people, where they could challenge oppressive authority, expose failure, irregularity, corruption and crime  and speak out freely, not just to each other but reach out to the whole world, share thoughts, opinions, views, misgivings, ideas and suggestions on issues directly affecting the ordinary people.
After Mugabe’s fall, we the people must stand tall and proud after having spear headed the fall of the worldest oldest and longest serving dictator, the deposed former president Robert Mugabe through media pressure.
Mnangagwa the new president in recognition of the havoc that we were wreaking on media through our fearless, relentless information dissemination on social media to the ordinary people, could do nothing except to finally admit as he did when he presented a document at the 17 th Annual December Conference in December 2017  to Zanu Pf showing Zanu pf intends to establish a media house to counter what it calls an increasingly hostile independent media.

Not a very nice way of describing such positive work in informing the people, but then again we are not in it to please, but to call a spade a spade, without fear or favour, reach out to all corners of the globe and beyond to tell it like it is!
Mnangagwa announced that Zanu pf will shortly set up community radio station across the all provinces of Zimbabwe and provide particularly rural masses an additional platform for Zanu pf to involve the people in national and other political developments.

This came as a surprise considering that independent operators were constantly denied the right to set up television broadcast stations, licensing and the right set up community radio stations by the oppressive Mugabe’s Zanu pf regime.
We always found it quite disconcerting that activists and opposition were denied fair coverage  by state media such as ZBC , Chronicle and Herald whose articles were always biased in favour of the brutal oppressive, illegitimate Zanu pf regime, led by Mugabe and whose powerhouse for at least half acentury has been Mnangagwa’s corner.

Mnangagwa has through no choice of his own, but thanks to the relentless pressure from the media with  people of  Zimbabwe, firmly behind our initiative, finally  accepted that cyber space is the future battlefield of political activity and Zanu pf must use electronic media tools such as website, Twitter, YouTube and live streaming to reach the people as that ground was long lost to independants like us.

It is important that the people do not give the ‘ruining’ party that space which we won against all odds and all together successfully brought down the dictator Mugabe.

That space which we the people are in control of, helps us all to make informed decisions. ‘Iwe neni tine basa!’, and Mnangagwa, Zanu pf stalwarts and securocrats must all fall
ZIMBABWE’S new President Emmerson Mnangagwa yesterday joined other African leaders like Zambias Edgar Lungu, Botswana’s Khama and Uganda’s Museveni who engage with their electorate on social media through opening his official Facebook account/

Mnangagwa then invited netizens to express thoughts as part of Zimbabwe’s “ new national dialogue”.
In December 2017, Presidential spokesman George Charamba encouraged Zimbabweans to be wary of criminals opening false media accounts, in the name of the First Family for purposes of extortion. This to many people was a ‘bit rich’ considering that he was a key ally to Mugabe, doing the highly controversial ‘Nathaniel Manheru ‘column which was a Zanu pf offical propaganda column.

Yesterday President Mnangagwa in obvious acknowledgement of the efforts by the people of Zimbabwe, to join the global village and successfully cause Mnangagwa, Zanu pf stalwarts and securocrats continuous sleepless nights,  introduced himself on the social networking site in a short video clip on his site, stating:

“To all my Facebook friends, I opened this page to communicate better with all the people of Zimbabwe. Leadership is a two-way street, I am here to listen to you to be part of a new national dialogue. So as we enter this new exciting area in Zimbabwe, I encourage you all to message me your thoughts as we move forward as one nation, together,”
Remember president Emmerson presented a document showing Zanu pf intends to establish a media house.
The ruling party aims to counter what it calls an increasingly hostile independent media.

Zanu pf will shortly set up community radio station across the all provinces and provide particularly rural masses an additional platform for Zanu pf to involve the people in national and other political developments.

Independent operators were constantly denied the right to set up television broadcast stations, licensing and the right set up community radio stations by Mugabe’s Zanu pf regime.

Opposition are at the very least insisting on fair coverage of all parties by ZBC but argue ZBC is biased in favour of the Zanu pf.

Mnangagwa is clearly accepting that cyber space is the future battlefield of political activity and Zanu pf must use electronic media tools such as website, Twitter, YouTube and live streaming to reach the people. www.newzimbabwevision.com says we have won, the Zanu pf dictatorship is folding up to pressure from the people across social media and bowing down to this by joining.
Read between the lines, Zimbabwe, once you engage in debate, its either you are with the oppressors , in support of all they says and stand or or you oppose it and you are a marked character.
Its obvious when you splash your photos and information directly to Mnangagwa’s desk, in this day and age its so simple using things like picture recognition to match your pictures with passport and other information and definitely a quick way of building your ‘wanted’ profile in CIO and other security books and while you may not know it, you will be a ‘person of interest ‘ to the dictatorship on landing at Zimbabwe’s airports or entering through any border as you will pop up on wanted people in national computers.
We however  as previously under Mugabe, will never back down until Mnangagwa, Zanu pf stalwarts and securocrats fall and we  remove the military from cabinet and restore civilian rule.
As we ramp up pressure on this dictatorship, lets  always push for diaspora votes to be allowed. Mnangagwa, zanu pf stalwarts and securocrats, know that of the close to 6million Zimbabweans spread out across the diaspora, the majority left because of Mugabe, Mnangagwa, Zanu pf stalwarts and securocrats  oppressive authority and will not settle for anything except the permanant removal of these people.
The people of Zimbabwe must continue to take advantage of the extended BVR registration exercise and register to vote in the 208 elections. Its scary that at present we only have just 4000 registered voters in a population of 15 million, yet we are dealing with an oppressive Mnangagwa, zanu pf stalwarts and securocrats regime that is skillful at vote rigging, using dead voters, child voters, inexistent names and other scams including with holding results as in 2008 and importing weapons from China to slaughter Zimbabweans who may seek to remove them from their monopoly of wealth and power. We really all need to encourage  family, friends and other to register to vote.
Rural areas, traditionally Zanu pf strong holds must be opened to  activist and opposition voter education campaigns.
Isn’t it funny to people of Zimbabwe, that people like the fugitive Jonathan Moyo whose father was killed by Mugabe during Gukurahundi,  the chief architect of the draconian acts AIPPA and POSA laws which caused the torture, arbitrary arrests, murder and forced exiling of activists and opposition, banned BBC now seeks BBC coverage to expose Mnangagwa’s illegitimate military regime?
This is the same man who caused the suffering of Zimbabweans throughout, was even behind the Tsholotsho declaration to elevate Mnangagwa to president and remove Mugabe, then lfip flopped to presenting a 70 minute video in the Zanu pf politburo of Mnangagwa’s attempts to remove Mugabe.
Jonathan Moyo is also the man behind the zanu pf NIKUV campaign manifesto of 31st july 2013. The point is  all Zanu are criminals and the only way we can move the nation forward is to stand our ground, ramp up media pressure and never give the Mnangagwa, zanu pf stalwarts and securocrats regime a voice, shut them down at all costs!
