PRESIDENT MNANGAGWA places the Civil Service Commission (CSC) under the Office of President and Cabinet (OPC), clearly a move calculated at directly spying on public sector unions and undermining collective bargaining principles in an ideal democratic situation, by militarising everything which started off with the cabinet. It will take many Zimbabweans long to realise by removing Mugabe and replacing him with Mnangagwa, they have effectively signed their own death warrants,..no change! Where in this world in a democracy have people ever heard of the civil service being under the Office of President and Cabinet (OPC)?
The simplest question I’d like to put across to everyone, is that we expect the Zanu pf Presidential 5 year mandate to come to an end within the next six months and Zimbabwe to hold elections but can we ever have a free and fair election handled by a civil service that falls under the Office of President and Cabinet (OPC) starting from the Registrar general Tobaiwa Mudede’s office? Wake up Zimbabwe! Mnangagwa is rewarding all criminals with hefty exit packages, preparing his own departure, guaranteeing them immunity from prosecution and now cementing Zanu pf monopoly over wealth and power by confirming opposition defeat before we even strt talking of elections.
Remember the Office of President and Cabinet (OPC) is not subject to audit, which is why the CIO was so ruthless upon Zimbabweans and Mugabe would always fly out of the country with US$4 million hard cash which was not subject to accountability so he did not need to say how much was spent, left over or what it was used for, on return. We all know that this is how the greater part of government revenue was looted by Mugabe and flown to the far East under pretext that he was going to Singapore for eye examinations. In the last 30 days Mnangagwa, allocated a much bigger budget towards the OPC than Mugabe ever did and here we are, seeing him now placing the Civil Service Commission (CSC) under this office. Its not rocket science to work out what the plan is, but this is set to be the easiest way for Zanu pf to loot millions and launder their ill gotten wealth without question under the pretext that it was spent on the civil service , especially because the OPC is not subject to any accounting,..Civil service, really? I shall not speak!
All these ridiculous changes have been put into force with just 30 days in office as president, yet he has done nothing for the people with respect to housing, employment, service delivery and other issues directly affecting the people,..suffer continue,..wake up Zimbabwe!
