Rural Teachers Union Of Zimbabwe (RTUZ) Leaders Released

Newzimbabwevision has just been informed that the Rural Teachers Union of Zimbabwe (RTUZ) leaders of today’s protester who were assaulted and arrested by the violent Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) who broke up today’s demonstrations as they approached Parliarment House have now been released.
Riot police officers swooped on protesters and arrested the Rural Teachers Union of Zimbabwe (RTUZ) leaders including RTUZ president Obert Masaraure, RTUZ secretary general Robson Chere , and RTUZ Programs Officer-Pride Mukono were  then taken to  Harare Central Police Station.
The victims of persecution by the police force have been released into the custody of their Zimbabwe Lawyers for Human Rights (ZLHR)  lawyer to receive medical treatment for injuries received during the police assault earlier on this morning .
Although, the RTUZ leaders informed the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) in advance as required by law, of the protest that they will be holding the demonstration today, they  are being  charged with participating in an ‘illegal Demonstration’ and will be appearing in court tomorrow at Harare’s Rotten Row courts.
