STATE OF EMERGENCY to be declared in Zimbabwe?

 There are credible and growing fears amongst the people of Zimbabwe, opposition and activists that Zimbabwe’s 92 year old despot president of Zimbabwe has now been forced onto his back foot and has nothing else to lose as the only way forward is out of power or forward against the people.

The government has lost control and had now become totally incapacitated due to widespread protests. The main concern is that Mugabe may heed calls by presidential spokesman George Charamba a.k.a Nathaniel Manheru who has called for Mugabe and his Zanu Pf regime to invoke Emergency Powers in Zimbabwe in order to ruthlessly crush protests like the Syrian President on his own people.

This is chilling because in general what George Charamba says is read out from the Zanu PF hymn book. A state of emergency is a period best forgotten particularly by the people of Matebeleland and Midlands, lost 20,000 Ndebele people when Mugabe invoked State of emergency powers to ruthlessly crush dissent from the traditionally united, millitant and defiant Matebeleland region.

Opposition forces are calling for swift intervention from Sadc to quell the crisis and any slaughter of the innocent by Mugabe, Zim1 family, Zanu pf stalwarts and securocrats who monopolise wealth and power through continuously looting national wealth and resources while hiding under the cover of nationalisation and indigenisation, which are simply ‘politically correct’ terms for legalised crime and corruption by ‘black oppressors of blacks, ……More news to follow,…By Sibusiso Ngwenya
