‘State turns rogue on civilians’ Trevor Ncube’s , Highlands police report mysteriously dissappears’
THE chairman of Alpha Media Holdings, Trevor Ncube (AMH) mystery surrounding recently experienced some scary encounters with strange suspicious characters in a black Mercedes Benz, with registration number BCB 7664.
The occupants of the controversial vehicle are suspected to be soldiers.
Trevor Ncube’s Alpha Media Holdings (AMH) are the publishers of several Zimbabwean papers, including the NewsDay, the Standard, the Zimbabwe Independent and Southern Eye.
The Alpha Media Holdings, chairman Trevor Ncube’s sister filed a report at Highlands police station, after two visits by the suspicious vehicle, but somehow, though not surprising, the report has disappeared and the police now claim that there is no record of such a report having been made at all.
Trevor Ncube suspects the vehicle’s occupants are military intelligence though their beret hats point at them being from the Presidential guard, hence a suspected case of harassment and intimidation of an ordinary person by the state. By Sibusiso Ngwenya
