A 23-YEAR-OLD Silobela man has been slapped with a 13-year jail term for raping and impregnating a 14-year-old school girl. Lungisani Moyo of Mvangeli Village under Chief Malisa who pleaded not guilty claiming the girl was his girlfriend, was however convicted of rape by Gweru regional Magistrate Morgan Nemadire. A 36-YEAR-OLD man from Gweru allegedly raped his two daughters aged two and seven and gave them sweets to buy their silence. The accused (name withheld to protect the identity of the minors) appeared before Gweru Regional Magistrate Morgan Nemadire facing two counts of rape.
