Mr Alex Shumba

A 52-year-old Mutare man who raped his 7-year-old niece has been sentenced to 18 years in jail. The rapist uncle (who can not be named to protect the minor’s identity) appeared before Mutare regional magistrate, Mr Alex Shumba for inserting his fingers into the minors privates parts and having an*l sex with her. He was convicted of aggravated indecent assault. A medical report was produced in court which showed that the girl had been abused….
