THE University of Zimbabwe (UZ) will starting this August introduce a degree in Tonga as the institution of high learning moves to promote the 16 indigenous languages that are recognised in the Constitution. More Jobless Graduates As Mugabe Caps 3 451 University of Zimbabwe  Graduands

A total of 3 451 graduands from the University of Zimbabwe have been conferred with doctorates, masters of philosophy and first degrees by President Robert Mugabe, who is the Chancellor of the institution. Among the undergraduates, there are 91 medical doctors, seven dentists, 50 pharmacists, 124 engineers, 93 agricultural experts, 389 accountants and 136 lawyers.
