Zesa Holdings chief executive Josh Chifamba, has with immediate effect, directed the power utility’s subsidiaries to stop any further payments for public relations consultancy to Fruitful Communications, a company owned by Highfield West legislator Psychology Maziwisa. Zesa Holdings To Dismiss 700 Contract Workers & 300 Permanent Staff.

  Zesa Holdings is set to fire close to 1000 workers as it has resolved not to renew their contracts in a bid to cut expenditure. Of the 1000, 300 are permanent employees “deemed redundant”.
