The Broke Mugabe’s Zanu PF Regime Is Offering US$100 Advance Wages To Civil Servants

Zimbabwe’s broke Zanu PF regime, is attempting to pacify civil servants’ over the staggered wage arrangement set up now in place.

Mugabe’s regime, unsurprisingly so, yesterday, paid the oppressive brutal Zimbabwe National Army (ZNA) while the Zimbabwe Prisons and Correctional Services (ZPSC) will be paid their dues on 29th June.

In an attempt to calm the destitute, agitated civil service and buy time, President Robert Mugabe’s government is offering an advance payment of US$100 per civil servant before Friday this week to cushion them against the impact of the recently announced staggered wages dates.

The rest of Zimbabwe’s civil servants will receive wages on 14th July, and pensioners will be paid on 19 July. It is obvious that by paying the Zimbabwe National Army (ZNA) first, Mugabe’s Zanu PF regime are only taking care of themselves as its obviously paying out protection fees in case of mass civil disobedience.

The traditionally ruthless, lawless military, when well fed, will happily brutalise the suffering masses in order to oppress the dissenting voices across the civil service and public in general, thereby protecting the oppressive Mugabe and his Zanu PF By Sibusiso Ngwenya.
