Zimbabwe’s must realise that Mnangagwa, Zanu pf stalwarts and securocrats regime is an illegitimate one that came into place not by the ballot but through the November 2017 Operation Restore Lecacy coup
Zimbabwe for the last 38 years has been dominated by the oppressive, Mugabe, Mnangagwa, Zanu pf stalwarts regime and as we all know, the nation is thirsty for democracy.
This is primari;ly because we cannot expect the very same Mnangagwa, Zanu pf stalwarts and securocrats who were for the last 38 years behind, gukurahundi, murambatsvina, Chiadzwa genocide, murderous white farmer eviction, 2008 election violence, election rigging, corruption, looting, and other crimes, to suddenly turn around and reform themselves out of power, walk the nation through apeaceful ballot and hand over the nation on a silver platter to the democratic opposition,..wake up Zimbabwe!
Zimbabwe’s national constitution dictates that the nation should hold general and presidential elections by 22 August 2018, a land mark election as its the first ballot in 38 years without Robert Mugabe’s name on the ballot paper since 1980, which has left , the current president Emmerson Mnangagwa as the ruling Zimbabwe African National Union-Patriotic Front party presidential candidate.
The real danger which most Zimbabweans are oblivious to, is the fact that the dicatato was removed but now the challenge we all have before us is that the dictatorship is even more fortified than before and this corrupt regime of Mnangagwa, Zanu pf stalwarts and the military are clearly legitimising the Operation Restore legitimacy coup. It is not rocket science that these oppressors can engineer a legal way of postponing the harmonised 2018 ballot, because Zimbabwe’s judiciary partisan to the ruining Zanu pf party.
