PCJ Motorways Bus Hits 24 Cattle, Between Chegutu & Half Way: 18 Dead
Bulawayo24.com apologises for erroneously reporting that a Tombs bus had killed 18 cattle in an accident on Saturday. It was in fact a PCJ bus!
Eighteen cattle were killed when a PCJ Motorways bus coming from Botswana hit 24 cattle on approaching the 87 kilometer peg along the Harare-Bulawayo road, between Chegutu and Half Way at Sangongore farm.
The bus had 8 passengers on board and no one was injured in the process.
Police spokesperson Chief Superintendent Paul Nyathi confirmed the incident.
He urged drivers to avoid speeding, especially when passing through farming areas. – Source-zbc
