Two die as Chivhu General Hospital ambulance loses control while attempting to overtake along the Chivhu-Harare Road.
Two people died on the spot when an ambulance from Chivhu General Hospital was involved in an accident on Wednesday afternoon along the Chivhu-Harare Road.
The driver and another officer from the hospital escaped with minor injuries.
The ambulance is believed to have been attempting to overtake before the driver lost control with the ambulance crashing into a nearby bush.
The ambulance was on its way to collect blood at the National Blood Service Zimbabwe in Harare.
The accident happened just after Exor Service Station in Chivhu Town about 2km outside Chivhu Town, along the Chivhu – Harare Road. Source-ZBC
