‘VP MNANGAGWA announces that according to the constitution, President Mugabe is immune from prosecution’

VICE PRESIDENT EMMERSON MNANGAGWA told MPs yesterday that according to Zimbabwe’s constitution, anyone found guilty of corruption by the Zimbabwe Anti Corruption committee (Zacc) will be prosecuted under Zimbabwean Laws and only the US $15 billion ‘thief’ President Robert Mugabe who appointed a convicted fraudster who fled South Africa in 1999 as head of Zacc, is immune from prosecution.

This to the ‘Discerning eye newzimbabwevision’ only confirms what I constantly state about Zanu pf corruption. It is clear to everyone that Zacc is not operating imdependantly as Zanu pf sstate interference is openly displayed for all. This was drawn to our attention a few days ago when Mugabe personally intervened in the case of Zaccs investigations into Higher Education minister Jonathan Moyo’s alleged abuse of the Zimdef fund.

Zacc was preparing to arrest Moyo and lay out charges of corruption but Mugabe swiftly blocked this even though Moyo openly admitted to drawing from the fund and buying bicycles and other equipmemt for farmers in his Tsholotsho community, a traditional Zanu PF vote buying scam. Mugabe’s interference is obviously in fear of loud mouth Jonathan Moyo’s ability to use both local amd international and social media tlo expose all Zanu pf shenanigans as he would obviously go down with many.

With corruption in farm allocation, diamond and other mining and business as well as drought relief, parastatals, governmentand anything involving Mugabe Zim1 pfamily, Zanu pf stalwarts and securocrats, Zacc is just a waste of time if not another cash cow for the well connected who will always be protected in their criinal activity. …DISCUSS!
