Woman Knocked Down By Kombi At Fourth Street Terminus

Talking about accidents without including the regular  kombis or commuter omnibus accidents on our roads  would be a  falsification of the horrendous reality on the ground.
Harare’s Fourth street is a particularly busy area with heavy traffic flow, dominated by public transport, mainly the kombis.
The festive season , on Christmas eve was an unfortunate day for a woman who was knocked down by a commuter omnibus wrecklessly racing down the wrong side of the road towards the Fourth street commuter taxi rank.
The victim, after being knocked down, was  subsequently  dragged along the road by another commuter bus in full view of onlookers.
This is yet again, a typical example of the lawless traffic jungle that is fostered by Mugabe and his Zanu PF regime who have collapsed the road service delivery and fail to police the road network, let alone the public transport system, leading to numerous unneccessary deaths of road users including passengers, other drivers, and pedestrians, whose lives are basically in the hands of these dangerous drivers.
Although some nearby people attempted to rush the injured woman to hospital, they abandoned their effort a short distance of about 200 metres away after realising the road accident victim had died, so they informed the police and waited for police assistance , who interestingly were beaten to the scene by   ZBC Newscrew .
