Zanu-PF MP Divorces Wife Of Twenty Four Years

Hurungwe West legislator Keith Guzah and his wife of 24 years Zandile Guzah (nee Maseko) are divorcing over what they say are irreconcilable differences.

The couple has since approached the High Court to have their marriage dissolved but there is a dispute over sharing of property including a 115-hectare farm.

In summons filed Guzah seeks a decree of divorce on the basis that his 24-year marriage to his wife Zandile has irretrievably broken down to an extent that there are no prospects of salvaging it since they have been living apart since 2008.

In her plea, Zandile accuses Guzah of promiscuity, drug abuse and violent conduct against herself and the children.
The couple has four children and Guzah lists property Number 2460 Egypt, Highfield and the 115-Carlton Curlicue Farm as the only immovable property they acquired during the subsistence of their marriage.

Zandile contends that they also purchased properties in Mount Pleasant, Mandara and Avondale in Harare.

She seeks to be awarded Carlton Curlicue Farm where she claims to have been residing permanently on the farm since 2005 running the day to day affairs there.

She accuses Guzah of selling most of their matrimonial properties and beating up the children.

The couple seeks a decree of divorce by consent and Zandile further seeks a maintenance order to the tune of US$1 500 per month for her upkeep as well as the fees for two of their children who are at university in China. source-zbc
